Christmas this year was a little quieter than in the past, and although I had considered not putting up a big tree and all the knicknacks, I ended up decorating two table trees which I had seen on Martha Stewart and it really was easier to put up and take down. I had a "ball" tree in the living room and a "toy"tree in the den.The children had great fun adding ornaments and of course there were a few broken ones along the way. We spent Christmas Eve going to early Mass and then back to my house for dinner with Joe's family including Stephen and Nancy and then on Christmas Day I went over the Heather and Joe's early for Santa and then over to Fairhope for dinner with Marilyn and John. Fortunately Miss Virginia was feeling well enough to join all of us on both occasions.Dialysis and several bad falls have played havoc with her well-being this year.
